• An application for early assistance is pending for a project to construct a five-story apartment building with 18 or 19 units at 200 N.E. 20th Ave. The proposal calls for the building to be adjacent to an existing two-story office building. The apartment building would be above the existing parking lot and there would be a new courtyard between the buildings. Stephanie Fitzhugh of DiLoreto Architecture is the applicant and Lorlin LLC is the project owner.

• An application has been submitted for a project to construct a 30,375-square-foot manufacturing building with offices and a warehouse along property on North Burr Avenue (97203 zip code). The building would be divided to serve four tenants. Dustin Johnson of CIDA Inc. is the applicant. The Jmichelina and James McGehee Trust is the project owner.

• An application for early assistance is pending for a project on property along Northeast 17th Avenue (97232 zip code). The proposal calls for demolition of all existing structures on the site except the church, which is listed on the city’s Historic Resources Inventory. The campus development would include construction of a seven-story affordable housing building and a three-story arts center with offices and classrooms. The affordable housing structure would have five wood-framed stories over two concrete stories and hold approximately 75,800 square feet. The 90 residential units would have either one or two bedrooms. Common spaces would include a lobby, property management and service offices, a community room, shared laundry space and bike storage. Parking would be under a podium along Northeast 16th Avenue and a central private courtyard shared by all three buildings. Julia Mollner of Carleton Hart Architecture is the applicant and Grace Memorial Protestant Episcopal Church of Portland is the project owner.

• An application for early assistance is pending for 806 N.E. Alberta St. The proposal calls for an addition to the existing school building in order to accommodate more classrooms. The project was approved through building permits in 2008 but not built. Stephanie Fitzhugh of DiLoreto Architecture is the applicant and St. Andrew Catholic Church of Portland, Oregon is the project owner.
