  • Early assistance is pending for a project at 135 N.W. Park Ave. The proposal calls for construction of a new Choice Cambria hotel with five stories of Type IIIB over one story of Type IA. The building would hold a total of 94,000 square feet (179 units) and be topped by an eco-roof. Gary Golla and Jon McAuley of SERA Architects are the applicants and Smithco Properties Inc. is the project owner.
  • An application for early assistance (zoning) has been submitted for a project at 2700 S.E. Tacoma St. The proposal calls for construction of a new four-story, approximately 173,000-square-foot self-storage facility. Site improvements would include grading, parking, landscaping, utility upgrades and buffer enhancements across the site’s total 2.74 acres. Russ Colvin of Clear Sky Capital is the applicant and Pacific SE Tacoma Street LLC is the project owner.
  • Early assistance is pending for a project at 2624 S.E. Division St. The proposal calls for construction of a five-story, 33,500-square-foot building. It would hold 52 apartments, including inclusionary housing units. The team plans to meet design standards per city code in lieu of Type II design review. No land use reviews are anticipated. Michael Perso of William Kaven Architecture is the applicant. The project owners are 27th and Division LLC, and 2624 SE Division LLC.
  • A Type II procedure is pending for tenant improvements involving approximately 2,700 square feet of an existing ground-floor shell space in a four-story multifamily building at 2880 S.E. Division St. The project would create four one-bedroom apartments and a shared amenity space. All units would be accessible directly from the street. The project would bring the total number of residential units in the building from 64 to 68. Michael Perso of William Kaven Architecture is the applicant and D28 Apartments LLC is the project owner.
  • Type II design review is pending for a project at 1947 N.W. Overton St. Plans call for construction of a new three-story building with underground parking in the Town Center area of the Northwest Plan District. DoveLewis plans to occupy the first two floors; the third floor would be available for lease to one or more tenants. Roy Pyatt of Landerholm is the applicant and P&S LLC is the project owner.
