Washington County Public Health promotes Boman-Davis

Marie聽Boman-Davis has been聽promoted to聽manager聽of聽Washington County Public Health. She joined the county in October 2020 to aid its COVID-19 response, serving聽as an epidemiology data and quality assurance supervisor.聽Boman-Davis鈥櫬�25-year public health career has spanned across聽community, research,聽academic聽and government settings. Her primary areas of focus have been chronic disease prevention,聽behavioral聽epidemiology and public health informatics. Boman-Davis has a doctorate in public health with a focus on health behavior聽from the University of California, San Diego. She聽also has聽a聽master鈥檚聽degree in聽public health聽with a聽focus on health promotion and a bachelor鈥檚 degree in health sciences with an emphasis on community health education聽from San Diego State University.
