  • A design advice request is pending for a project at 900 S.E. Sandy Blvd. Plans call for construction of a 12-story, 250,000-square-foot mixed-use building that would include split-level retail space with activated courtyards on the ground level, one-and-a-half levels of below-grade parking and 271 residential units on floors two through 12. The residential levels would have exterior balconies (one per unit) and a variety of amenities such as lounges, workspaces and fitness centers. Jonathan Heppner of LEVER Architecture is the applicant and Wilson Revocable Living Trust is the project owner.
  • An application for early assistance is pending for a multifamily development at 7909 S.E. Harney St. The proposal calls for 76 townhouse-style units and 76 off-street parking spaces. There would also be 148 long-term bike parking spaces (76 of them within the units). Additionally, the proposal calls for construction of a new, private vehicular road connection between Harney Street and Crystal Springs Boulevard. Casey McGuirl of McGuirl Designs and Architecture is the applicant. The project owners are Roger Goldingay and Carol Otis.
  • An application for early assistance is pending for installation of approximately 1,400 lineal feet of 8-inch fire service lateral at 1880 N.E. Elrod Drive. The proposal also calls for 1,700 lineal feet of 3-inch water service lateral. The new laterals would connect to the existing Portland Water Bureau water main in Northeast Argyle Drive and extend along the eastern/southern edge of two additional properties within an easement. Brittany Sorenson of Brown and Caldwell is the applicant. The project owners are Multnomah County Drainage District no. 1, Concrete Pumping Holdings LLC and Clarke-Murphy LLC.
  • An application for early assistance is pending for a project to construct a new three-story, 37-unit multifamily building at 7246 N. Mohawk Ave. There would be no off-street vehicular parking. An on-site dry well would be used for stormwater disposal. James McGuirl of McGuirl Designs and Architecture is the applicant and Portland Housing Group LLC is the project owner.
