Lane Powell adds Backus as a shareholder

Kara Backus has returned to Lane Powell as a shareholder in its Portland office. She previously was an attorney at Lane Powell from 2012-2015 before joining Bullard Law. Backus鈥� practice is exclusively in the areas of employee benefits and executive compensation. She has experience with qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, health and welfare benefit plans, executive compensation issues, and the employee benefits aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Backus has a Juris Doctor degree from the Gould School of Law at the University of Southern California, and a bachelor鈥檚 degree in English and German from Amherst College.
