Melanie Choch has joined Sussman Shank LLP as special counsel in its business department. She has 22 years of experience as a business transactional attorney. She has served public, private and not-for-profit clients in industries such as media and entertainment, manufacturing, retail, telecommunications, food services, technology, health care, pharmaceuticals, professional services, and farming. Choch first had a lengthy legal career at Gowling WLG in Calgary, Canada.聽Her areas of focus included mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, commercial transactions, debt and equity financing, procurement, and estate planning. Choch started her own cross-border consulting business in 2017, and three years later brought it to Portland.
