Alison Horst has joined GRI as a staff geologist. She is responsible for completing subsurface investigations, conducting laboratory tests of soil and rock, and providing construction observation services. Horst has experience in earthquake geology 鈥� specifically paleo-seismic trenching and use of gravity and magnetic data to identify and map faults. She has a master鈥檚 degree in geology from Portland State University.
