Lane Powell has added Douglas S. Parker as a shareholder and labor and employment attorney. He previously was a Littler Mendelson partner and office managing shareholder of its offices in Portland and Anchorage, Alaska. With a practice spanning more than 35 years, Parker has earned the reputation as a trusted advisor and renowned litigator. He is a management-side lawyer who practices traditional labor law and represents employers in litigation involving a broad array of employment claims, including wrongful discharge, wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, non-compete, and ERISA matters. He also handles union issues for employers. Parker is admitted to practice in Oregon, Washington and Alaska. He has a Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law, and a bachelor鈥檚 in history from Oregon State University.
