  • A Type 2 procedure (environmental review) is pending for demolition of all above-ground infrastructure remaining at the Sea Scouts Marina, at 7800 N.E. Marine Drive. • Type 3 design review is pending for Sandy Pine – a 12-story, 124-foot-tall mass-timber high-rise planned at 900 S.E. Sandy Blvd. The proposal calls for two and a half levels of subgrade parking with 180 stalls. The building would consist of 11 floors of residential space (279 units), an office on the 11th floor, amenity areas and a covered roof terrace. The ground floor would include street-facing retail space, at-grade loading and parking garage access, a residential lobby, walk-up apartments, and an outdoor amenity court. Johnathan Heppner of LEVER Architecture is the applicant and Sandypine LLC of Seattle is the project owner.
  • Type 2 design review is pending for a 717-square-foot addition to the 27th floor of Fox Tower, at 805 S.W. Broadway. The proposal calls for a new roof terrace to be made of raised concrete pedestal pavers and contained by 42-inch-high planter boxes with integrated lighting. A canopy structure would be provided for shade and light rain cover. The interior corridor would be modified with a ramp and the stair vestibule would be adjusted to allow access to the roof terrace. Robert Thompson of TVA Architects is the applicant and Fox Tower Building LLC is the project owner.
  • Type 1 design review is pending for deferred maintenance on primary building systems at a structure along Southwest First Avenue (within the 97201 zip code). The proposal calls for the HVAC system to be replaced with new rooftop equipment for the pool and variable refrigerant volume fan coil units for the interior spaces. The existing pool and spa water filtration system and pool equipment will be replaced, and the mechanical room will be reconfigured accordingly.
