GOVERNMENT

The Oregon Land Conservation and Development Commission (LCDC) has appointed Marion County Commissioner Colm Willis to the state’s Local Officials Advisory Committee (LOAC). Members include elected officials from both urban and rural cities and counties and reflect the geographic diversity of the state. The LOAC advises and assists the Department of Land Conservation and Development and the LCDC on policies and programs affecting local governments. The committee was established in 1973 by Senate Bill 100. Willis will serve a two-year term.
