Ball Janik adds Patel as land use & development associate

Nikesh J. Patel has joined Ball Janik LLP as a land use & development associate in its Portland office. He will assist with various legal matters surrounding affordable housing, mixed-use, commercial and community development efforts. Patel is familiar with local government procedures via service as an honors attorney with the city of Portland and as an associate in an international firm鈥檚 real estate and land use group. He has assisted clients in their development goals by working collaboratively with local governments and communities. He also has advised city bureaus on housing and development programs. Patel has a bachelor鈥檚 degree in economics from the University of Oregon and a Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School.
