Kjersten Turpen has joined Miller Nash鈥檚 Portland office. She will represent private and public companies in Oregon, Washington and California in employment law claims related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour matters. In a career spanning 20 years, Turpen has extensive experience representing clients in federal and state courts as well as before administrative agencies such as the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries. She also counsels employers on managing day-to-day risk in the workplace and assists in drafting policies, agreements and employee handbooks. Turpen has a bachelor鈥檚 degree in English from the University of Oregon and a Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law.
