• A Type 2 procedure is pending for 2311 S.E. Cesar E. Chavez Blvd. Requested adjustments include the pedestrian connection, the short-term bicycle parking location, the vehicle area location and the setback for surface parking driveways. Eli Metcalf of Harka Architecture is the applicant and Ian Campbell is the project owner.
• A Type 2 procedure is pending for 4121 N.E. Grand Ave. A requested adjustment is for reduction of the lot size from 5,000 square feet to 4,650 square feet (for the benefit of a lot directly west under common ownership) to mitigate right-of-way dedication requirements. Meron Alemseghed of Geza Development is the applicant, and Geza Development is the project owner.
• A Type 2 procedure is pending for 10315 N.E. Sandy Blvd. An adjustment is sought to the setback requirement for the north property line to allow installation of a fence. Karen Avalos of Fox Management is the applicant, and Peerless Property Management is the project owner.
• A Type 2 procedure is pending for 4142 S.E. 52nd Ave. An adjustment is sought to the front-yard setback, adjacent to 52nd Avenue, from 10 feet to 8.5 feet. Reed Kirk and Jason Rucker of 52 Hive LLC are the applicants, and Sydney Deal and Ryan Walker of Portland are the project owners.
• Early assistance is pending for a four-story, 51-unit affordable housing development at 4045 N.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The units would range from studios to having three bedrooms. Wood framing would be used for construction. Michael Bonn of Ankrom Moisan Architects is the applicant and Strategic Asset Acquisition is the project owner.
• Early assistance is pending for the International School of Portland, at 2305 S. Water Ave. The proposal calls for the next phase in the school’s master plan development that includes extension of existing access through the site and construction of a new driveway on Southwest Sherman Street. Steven Borcherding of the International School of Portland is the applicant, and the International School is the project owner.
