Sarah Hale has joined Miller Nash鈥檚 Portland office as special counsel. She advises public and private employers throughout Oregon and Washington on a wide variety of workplace-related matters, including leave and disability law compliance, workplace investigations, workplace policies and employee handbooks, collective bargaining, union contract negotiations, and grievance and interest arbitrations. In addition to providing counsel on day-to-day employment and labor issues, Hale also defends clients in state and federal court regarding claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wage and hour and wrongful discharge. She has both a bachelor鈥檚 degree and a master鈥檚 degree in history from the University of Oregon as well as a law degree from the University of Washington School of Law.
