Timothy W. Smith of SERA Architects has attained the planning profession鈥檚 highest honor: induction into the American Institute of Certified Planners鈥� College of Fellows for outstanding achievements in urban planning. Fellowship is granted to planners who have achieved certification through the American Planning Association鈥檚 professional institute and have excelled in professional practice, teaching and mentoring, research, public and community service, and leadership. Smith is one of 53 inductees this year. He is the principal and founder of SERA Architects鈥� Urban Design and Planning Studio. He is a registered architect and certified planner with more than 40 years of professional experience.
