  • A type 3 procedure is pending for improvements, including a seismic upgrade, at the Lombard Pump Station in North Portland. Work would include installation of a new generator and generator pad. Cyrus Osborn of the Portland Bureau of Environmental Services is the applicant and the Port of Portland and the city of Portland are the project owners.
  • Early assistance is sought for a proposal to convert a single-family residence at 1935 N.E. Cesar Chavez Blvd. to commercial use. Dave Spitzer of DMS Architects is the applicant and Chin Hor Lee and Michael Janniro are the project owners.
  • Design advice is sought for a proposal to modify Portland State University’s Science Building One, at 1025 S.W. Mill St. Work would include construction of a new glass façade, a new entry, accessible stairs, and ramps. Occupancy would be removed from the sixth floor to make way for mechanical units. Michael Tingley of Bora Architects is the applicant and the Oregon State Board of Higher Education is the project owner.
  • A pre-application conference is sought for a proposal to modify a multifamily building at 1311 S.W. Gibbs St. from 27 units to 43 units. Some of the existing two-bedroom and three-bedroom units would be converted into studios and one-bedroom units. The exterior façade, square footage, and site would remain the same. Sean O’Neill of SWS PDX LLC is the applicant and SWS PDX LLC is the project owner.
  • Design advice is sought for a proposal to construct a 12-story, approximately 240,000-square-foot affordable housing complex at 4110 N.E. Halsey St. The building would have approximately 234 residential units, 40 parking spaces, and bicycle parking. Dave Otte of Holst Architecture is the applicant and TriMet is the project owner.
  • Early assistance is pending for a proposal to convert a building at 701 N. Hunt St. into a recycling facility that would sort metal, plastic, glass and paper for off-site recycling. The project would include an addition. The facility would not handle hazardous waste, solid waste or yard debris. Steven Ferker and Nathiel Egosi of RRT Design & Construction are the applicants and Wastech Inc. is the project owner.
  • Early assistance is pending a proposal to build an oncology care facility at Southeast 91st Place and 92nd Avenue. Indrajit Obeysekere and Rich Couturier of Meridian Property Ventures are the applicants and Bitar Bros., Robert A. Bitar Corp. is the project owner.
  • Early assistance is pending for a proposal to construct two warehouses at 3603 N.E. Sandy Blvd. Kyle Marvin of Americo Real Estate is the applicant and Julie Sams of Lake Oswego is the project owner.
