  • A pre-application conference is sought for a project at 205 N.E. Russell St. Plans call for demolition of Multnomah County Library’s Isom Operations Center and the attached garage building as well as interior reconfiguration and seismic upgrades for the library building on the site. Tyler Nishitani of LEVER Architecture is the applicant, and the Multnomah County Library District is the project owner.
  • Early assistance is sought for a project at 5225 N. Channel Ave. The proposal is for redevelopment of the Daimler Trucks lot with required storm drainage, general design and landscaping. Beth Zauner of AAI Engineering is the applicant, and the Port of Portland is the project owner.
  • Design advice has been requested for a project at 512 N. Killingsworth St. The proposal is for renovation and modernization of the historic Carnegie Library building as well as a 1,500-square-foot expansion. Tyler Nishitani of LEVER Architecture is the applicant, and the Multnomah County Library District is the project owner.
  • Early assistance is sought for a project at 3408 S.E. 20th Ave. The proposal is for conversion of an existing shop/office space into a coffee roasting facility. Work would include demolition of existing partition walls, accessibility upgrades, and more. Brannon Lobdell of BRLA is the applicant, and Point 3 Properties is the project owner.
  • An application for early assistance is pending for a project at 10040 N.E. Sixth Drive. The proposal is for demolition of a pump station, generator buildings, a fence, and auxiliary features. Also, there would be an upgrade of the existing pump station, and construction of a new pump station and fence. Cyrus Osborn of the Bureau of Environmental Services is the applicant, and the city of Portland is the project owner.
  • An application for early assistance is pending for a project at 14210 E. Burnside St. Plans call for creation of two identical three-story, nine-unit apartment buildings. Matthew Rusnac of Florez Design Studios is the applicant, and Dani Gobana is the project owner.
  • A Type 2 procedure (adjustment) is pending for a project at 5151 S.E. Holgate Blvd. Plans call for conversion of a vacant retail area into five live-work units. Lee Winn of Winn Architecture is the applicant, and CH Woodstock LLC is the project owner.
  • An application for early assistance is pending for 7811 S.E. Center St. The proposal calls for remediation of accessibility barriers that were noted in Essex Park’s ADA transition plan site map. Work would include removal and replacement of most pathways with new accessible ones and new accessible spectator and player seating areas at the ballfield. Steve Miller of Emerio Design is the applicant, and the city of Portland is the project owner.
  • A Type 2 procedure (nonconforming situations review) is pending for 7004 N. Catlin Ave. The proposal calls for an expansion of 600 to 650 square feet at Your Inn Tavern. Denver Skalbeck of Your Inn Tavern is the applicant, and Den Bar Investment LLC is the project owner.
