Design review is pending for a proposed 12-story, 93-unit affordable housing building at 2059 S.W. Park Ave. Plans call for a structure made of mass-plywood panels and light-gauge steel. Previously, an 11-story, 89-unit building was proposed. The development team opted for Type II design review, which is allowed for affordable housing projects. A design advice request is pending for work at Multnomah County Library District’s Isom Operations Center, at 205 N.E. Russell St. The proposal calls for a major renovation (including seismic upgrades) of the 14,100-square-foot building and construction of a 32,000-square-foot addition. The project would provide additional library and community space as well as district-wide library administration offices.
