• Design review is pending for a proposed 12-story, 93-unit affordable housing building at 2059 S.W. Park Ave. Plans call for a structure made of mass-plywood panels and light-gauge steel. Previously, an 11-story, 89-unit building was proposed. The development team opted for Type II design review, which is allowed for affordable housing projects. Ralph Tahran of Tahran Architecture & Planning is the applicant and Park Avenue PSU LLC is the project owner.
• An application for early assistance is pending for right-of-way vacation for North Columbia Court. Virginia Bowers of the Bureau of Environmental Services is the applicant.
• A design advice request is pending for work at Multnomah County Library District’s Isom Operations Center, at 205 N.E. Russell St. The proposal calls for a major renovation (including seismic upgrades) of the 14,100-square-foot building and construction of a 32,000-square-foot addition. The project would provide additional library and community space as well as district-wide library administration offices. Tyler Nishitani of LEVER Architecture is the applicant and the Multnomah County Library District is the project owner.
• An application for early assistance is pending for a proposed four-story, 32-unit multifamily building at 2755 S.E. Belmont St. The development would hold units with one, two, three or four bedrooms. There would be a central courtyard. Keegan Hebert of Works Progress Architecture is the applicant and KP Belmont 28 Real Estate LLC is the project owner.
