GOVERNMENT

Washington County has appointed Shannon Wilson manager of its Office of Community Development. She has served the county for nearly five years, most recently as the housing development manager. In that role, she oversaw implementation of the Metro affordable housing bond. Wilson will assume her new role Sept. 6. She previously spent 16 years with Community Partners for Affordable Housing, including two years as deputy director. She amassed expertise in direct service delivery, grant writing and management, program development, affordable housing development and finance, and organizational leadership. Wilson has a master鈥檚 degree in public administration from Portland State University.
