Deep Blue Pacific Wind, a Portland-based offshore wind developer, has appointed Katie Morrice as environmental and permitting lead. She is a marine scientist with more than a decade of ocean research and field experience. She most recently advised on ocean policy for the U.S. Department of Energy. Morrice will support Deep Blue鈥檚 mission to bring the benefits of floating offshore wind power to Oregon, with an emphasis on ocean ecosystems and the industries it supports.
