Columbia Credit Union has added Sharif Burdzik to its business lending team to spearhead small business outreach and support in the Portland-metro area. After spending a decade working at banks with nationwide footprints, Burdzik transitioned to community and small business banking after moving to the Pacific Northwest in the early 2000s. He has served on the boards of many local organizations; currently, he is a member of the Washington State University-Vancouver Equity Diversity Advisory Board and a director for Partners in Careers, the Clark College Foundation, and the Watershed Alliance.
