  • A type 2 procedure (adjustment) is pending for St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, at 1131 S.E. Oak St. An adjustment is sought to the parking area setback requirement and landscaping standards. Natalie Wood of Catholic Charities is the applicant and St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church of Portland, Oregon is the project owner.
  • Early assistance is pending for 11270 N.E. Holman St. The proposal calls for construction of an automotive reception and service facility. The new building would have a three-lane service drive attached to a reception area. There would be a lounge, a refreshment area, restrooms and other customer care amenities. The service portion would have 35 stalls, a parts department, and service technician areas. Austin Hahn of Allegro Civil Engineers of Chicago is the applicant and Holman PDX Real Estate LLC is the project owner.
  • Early assistance is being sought for a new affordable housing development at 8911 N. Leonard St. The proposal calls for construction of a three-story, 18,500-square-foot building with 22 units. The building would include resident services and feature outdoor amenities. Jill Sherman of Edlen & Co. is the applicant and Red Sea Community Church is the project owner.
  • Early assistance is being sought for 10542 S.E. Washington St. The proposal calls for construction of a five-story, 80,000-square-foot building with 97 apartments. Jeffrey Benner of Benner Stange Associates Architects is the applicant and Plaza 205 GRF2 LLC of Solana Beach, California, is the project owner.
  • Early assistance is pending for 510 N.W. Third Ave. Plans call for development of an off-street bus layover facility. The project would include a roughly 1,000-square-foot operator break room facility, site lighting and landscaping. Joe Recker of TriMet is the applicant and PDC (Prosper Portland) is the project owner.
  • Early assistance is pending for 5303 N. Borthwick Ave. The proposal calls for construction of a three-story, 11-unit apartment building. Type V-B construction would be used for the 6,700-square-foot building, which would have a rooftop community deck as well as a terrace on the back side of the second floor. The building’s exterior would include fiber cement panels, vinyl windows and composite wood cladding. Andrew Schilling of Salt Architecture is the applicant and Melissa Monteith is the project owner.
