Jordan Ramis PC has moved its headquarters to the PACWEST building, at 1211 S.W. Fifth Ave. in downtown Portland. The law firm will continue to also operate out of offices in Bend and Vancouver, Washington.

The move downtown is an evolutionary step for the 29-attorney firm, founded in 1963, as it grows to聽serve a wider client base in Oregon and Washington. Jordan Ramis previously was headquartered in Lake Oswego since 1993.

鈥淟ake Oswego has been really good to Jordan Ramis, but we are at the next stage of our firm,鈥� Board Chair Peter Hicks said. 鈥淒owntown Portland is a desirable destination to work, live and socialize, and many of the candidates we have interviewed and hired want to work downtown. We desire a diverse workforce who can help us grow and serve our clients. The move downtown helps us achieve this goal.鈥�

The firm鈥檚 new 15,500-square-foot space, on PACWEST鈥檚 27th floor, is 40 percent smaller than the previous Lake Oswego space, and is designed for a hybrid work schedule with uniform flex offices. Nearly 50 current attorneys and staff will work out of the downtown office as well as remotely from home.

鈥淚t鈥檚 a post-COVID space for a 21st century law firm,鈥� Hicks said.
