Andrea Barton has rejoined Miller Nash LLP as a partner and a member of its education and employment law & labor relations teams. She previously served as general counsel for the University of Portland for six years, including four years as a vice president. Barton has extensive experience advising institutions of higher education both from her prior work with Miller Nash and her work as general counsel. She also represents local and national businesses and individuals in breach-of-contract actions, tort claims, civil-rights claims, and employment matters. Barton has a bachelor鈥檚 degree in English and preprofessional studies from the University of Notre Dame and a Juris Doctor from Notre Dame Law School.
