CONSTRUCTION

Fortis Construction has hired Kimberly Sutton as diversity, equity & inclusion senior manager.聽She has more than 20 years of experience developing and leading DEI and small business inclusion programs at both the state and local levels.聽She has developed policies and initiatives to create equity in contracting, developed and led compliance programs, and worked with community stakeholders, political advocacy organizations, and community chambers/coalitions to ensure small businesses, communities of color, and low-income communities have access to opportunities. Sutton previously was the equity in contracting manager for the Port of Portland. She also has worked for the Oregon Governor鈥檚 Office and TriMet.
