Paulsen joins Parametrix as senior engineer in Portland

Parametrix has hired Kirk Paulsen as a senior engineer in the Portland office. He provides transportation and environmental planning, urban design and traffic engineering services to clients including the city of Vancouver, Washington, and the Oregon Department of Transportation. Paulsen has more than 10 years of experience designing transportation projects throughout Oregon, Washington and California. He previously served as a transportation design engineer for Alta Planning + Design. He specializes in active transportation design, including on-street and separated bikeways, enhanced pedestrian environments, and off颅-street multiuse paths. Paulsen holds a master鈥檚 degree in civil and environmental engineering from Portland State University.
