Ogletree Deakins has added Sarah Hale as a shareholder in its Portland office. She previously was a partner at Miller Nash. Hale advises and defends employers on a full range of labor and employment issues. She has a breadth of experience counseling clients on everyday workplace matters, including compliance with the Family Medical Leave Act and Americans with Disabilities Act, conducting workplace investigations, drafting workplace policies and employee handbooks, and representing clients in collective bargaining, union contract negotiations, and grievance and interest arbitrations. Hale also defends employers in both state and federal courts against claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful discharge, and wage and hour issues.
