Craig Ashford has joined Miller Nash LLP鈥檚 Portland office as a member of its growing tax team. He previously served as in-house counsel for the University of Oregon for eight years. Ashford has a wide range of experience assisting public entities with a variety of legal matters. His deep familiarity with the unique way that public entities operate informs his practical approach to advising executive teams and boards of directors regarding legislation, tax compliance, risk management, real estate development, executive compensation, bond issuances, fiduciary obligations, public records and public meetings. Ashford has a Juris Doctor from the University of Oregon School of Law.
