ARCHITECTURE

Gensler鈥檚 Portland office has hired Tim Evans as project director for the region鈥檚 higher education practice area. He has more than 40 years of experience, including 34 dedicated to science education facilities and research buildings. Evans has honed his skills at various architecture and design firms, most recently at Rafael Vinoly Architects and SRG Partnership. His stint with the latter strongly influenced his passion for incorporating energy efficiency and sustainability features in science buildings. Evans鈥� experience designing instructional spaces includes a concentration on STEM education and veterinary medicine. He has a bachelor鈥檚 degree in architecture from Cornell University.
