Bids Due: September 15, 2023 by 3:00pm (PT)

Sundt Construction is the Construction Manager / General Contractor (CMGC) for the Willamette Water Supply System (WWSS) Water Treatment Plant.

Sundt Construction is seeking bids from qualified subcontractors and suppliers for curb and gutter, sidewalks and flatwork concrete, asphalt pavement, striping and signage, fencing, landscaping and irrigation and more.

The WWSS and Sundt desire cost competition on all work packages. The expectation is that all subcontractors meet some level of minimum qualifications (insurance, bonding, licensing, etc.).

Each subcontractor and supplier will be required to bid the specific bid package documents prepared for each component of the project. Bid documents will be available to Subcontractors and Suppliers on August 7, 2023. Electronic copies of the bid documents are being made available by Sundt Construction through BuildingConnected. The requirements of Subcontractor and Supplier bids are set forth in the individual bid packages and Instructions to Bidders.

Due to the proprietary nature of certain components of the project, prospective bidders will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement prior to accessing the bid documents on BuildingConnected.

The Project Owner is receiving Federal assistance through the Water Infrastructure Finance Innovation Act (WIFIA). The Project is a Federally funded project; therefore, must comply with all relevant federal laws and regulations for WIFIA Program Requirements. The work to be performed is for a Public Work subject to Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) 279C.800 to 279C.870 and the Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 3141 to 3148). Inclusion of Federal funding will necessitate certified payroll and inclusion of American Iron and Steel construction materials, among other requirements.

Qualified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) are encouraged to submit bids on this project. Companies that use a subcontractor(s) are required to make a good faith effort at soliciting DBE subcontractor participation.

A non-mandatory pre-bid is scheduled for Friday August 11, 2023 from 9:00am to 11:30am (PT). This pre-bid meeting will be held at the project site as well as held virtually. The project site address is 21309 SW 124th Ave, Sherwood, OR 97140. The hyperlink to the virtual meeting will also be posted in BuildingConnected. Subcontractors and Suppliers are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-bid to discuss the requirements of the bid documents.

Subcontract and Suppliers may issue requests for information until September 1, 2023. All RFI responses and addenda will be distributed to prospective bidders no later than September 8, 2023.

Subcontractor and Supplier bids are due on September 15, 2023 by 3:00pm (PT). Times and requirements of the subcontract bids are prescribed in the Subcontractor/Supplier Instructions to Bidders.

Sundt Construction reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
