CONSTRUCTION

Jacob Harrel has joined Harder Mechanical Contractors as director of virtual design and construction. He will lead a department of more than 90 CAD professionals, BIM engineers and BIM managers. The department鈥檚 staffers support projects across six states with preconstruction coordination, trade-specific detailing, design assist, design-build, and all other front-end constructability efforts. During seven years in the construction industry, Harrel has gained experience in design engineering and construction, with a focus on semiconductor, manufacturing, and commercial facilities. Harrel has a bachelor鈥檚 degree in construction engineering management from Oregon State University.
