GOVERNMENT

Washington County has appointed Molly Rogers director of its Department of Housing Services. She will begin her new role on Oct. 9. Rogers currently is interim director of the Portland Housing Bureau; she previously was its deputy director since 2019. Prior to that, she was the director of asset management and housing policy at Home Forward, the housing authority serving the city of Portland, Multnomah County, Gresham and other communities. Rogers has a bachelor鈥檚 degree in anthropology and sociology from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, and a master鈥檚 degree in public administration from the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs in New York City.
