GOVERNMENT

Dani Ledezma has been named assistant county administrator/strategic planning officer for Washington County. Her portfolio will include Land Use and Transportation, Cooperative Library Services, Economic Development, and Westside Commons (formerly the Fair Complex). Ledezma will also assist the ongoing implementation of聽the Design the Future initiative. She will take over from Rachael Fuller, who has been serving in the position in an interim capacity since September 2021. Ledezma previously served for nearly five years as a senior advisor for racial equity and justice in the Portland Public Schools superintendent鈥檚 office. She has also served as a policy advisor for two governors 鈥� Kate Brown and John Kitzhaber.
