鈥淚t may be a bit clich茅, but Diana Prince, aka Wonder Woman, had a pretty incredible impact on me growing up,鈥 she said. 鈥淲hile she was just a character, as a young girl seeing a woman who had no limits to what she could do, I was inspired. Bionic Woman, and other strong women characters in books and TV that I read about and watched growing up, allowed me to feel that I had no limits to what I could accomplish.鈥
For the past 26 years, Strassmaier has established herself as a leader, mentor and advisor to her commercial construction, governmental construction, architecture and engineering clients. When she arrived from Baltimore five years ago and launched her role at Aldrich, she helped bolster the company鈥檚 architecture and engineering focus. She was named an Aldrich partner in December 2021, where she has used her inherent leadership skills to build a passionate, specialized team that has elevated the firm鈥檚 reach to serve clients across the country.
鈥淒iana has a great passion for the A+E industry,鈥 shared Linda Spongberg, senior manager at Aldrich. 鈥淪he advocates for her clients and has an impact on both the local and national levels in advising on various tax and overhead rate audit issues that are of importance to the industry. Diana is a role model for the professionals within Aldrich in providing excellent client service and maintaining high technical standards. She is always willing to answer questions and provide career guidance and technical training.鈥
Outside of work, Strassmaier is the director for the Portland chapter of the Construction Management Financial Association. She also is a certified instructor for the National Highway Institute.
