The Building Industry Association (BIA) of Clark County, Washington, has announced its President’s Awards for 2023.

Kingston Homes was named Builder of the Year. This honor is given annually to the company that exemplifies leadership, innovation, design excellence and integrity in business, according to a BIA press release.

The BIA also presented awards in eight other categories for leadership, advocacy and exceptional craftmanship.

Caleb Blanton, 2023 BIA president and New Tradition Homes construction manager, received the Outstanding Leadership Award.

Jon Girod, owner of Quail Homes, was named the Industry Advocate of the Year. Girod dedicated numerous hours to highlighting and supporting workforce development initiatives throughout Clark County, according to the BIA.

Sarah Neibert of Affinity Homes was honored as Volunteer of the Year for the countless volunteer hours she contributed to various BIA programs with a special focus on the Building Futures Foundation that offers scholarships and tool grants, the BIA stated.

The Remodeler of the Year was A.C.T. Builders LLC, the Developer of the Year was Nutter Corp., and the Subcontractor of the Year was Cascade Flooring America.

Other President’s Awards were presented to Ashley Shimer of WFG Title for Associate of the Year and Parr Lumber for Supplier of the Year.
