Nutter Family Foundation President Renee Nutter has won a national award for her role leading Dozer Day, an exhibition of construction equipment where kids can play and adults can meet prospective employers.

The National Utility Contractors Association chose Nutter, a Clark County, Washington, native, as the recipient of the 2024 We Dig America award. Previous recipients include President Ronald Reagan and Oregon Rep. Peter DeFazio.

Dozer Day will return this year to the Clark County Event Center in Ridgefield, Washington, on Oct. 5-6.

Nutter called the winning the award 鈥渢ruly a humbling and gratifying experience.鈥�

鈥淚 am deeply honored to be recognized by NUCA, an organization that I hold in the highest regard,鈥� she stated in a news release. 鈥淭his award is a testament to the dedication and hard work of not only myself but also the incredible team of industry professionals who have supported me throughout this journey of bringing Dozer Day to more communities in America.鈥�

The Nutter Family Foundation took over Dozer Day in 2008 and has since expanded the event to additional cities.
