Improvements are proposed for the social swimming pool and its changing rooms on the Multnomah Athletic Club’s third floor. The space was originally constructed as a type 1A, fully sprinklered addition. The plan calls for removal of select interior, non-load-bearing walls along with additions of finishes and fixtures, a new pool and mechanical equipment. The work would involve pool floor/​stairs and finishes, lighting interior doors, casework, plumbing fixtures, and replacement of interior finishes. The only exterior work would involve the rooftop mechanical equipment and relocation of an exhaust.

Plans call for construction of a new detached building that would serve as a 30-room, 50-bed residential care facility with a memory care component.
