Type 2 procedure (design review) – pendingÌý Ìý
Address: 1771 N. Flint Ave.
Applicants: Jeff Stern and Chandra Robinson of LEVER Architecture
Owner: Albina One LP

The applicant requests approval for additional design details for the Albina One building previously approved and currently under construction. During the previous design review hearing, the application of color and murals on the building and laser-cut metal-screen designs had not yet been determined and a condition of approval required review for these elements. The current proposal includes the elimination of the gold metal accent panels next to the windows and elimination of the mural at the building’s southeast corner featuring balconies. It includes incorporating a stencil in the dark blue façade of the building’s upper portion to create a large-scale pattern in the stucco. It also incorporates the same pattern into the yellow metal screens that occur along the ground level.
