Organization opens eyes to career opportunities in the trades

The Construction Industry Education Foundation hosted its 2024 Trades Day at the Portland Expo Center on Tuesday. More than 1,250 students from 29 high schools attended the event. The students engaged in hands-on construction trade demonstrations and had opportunities to interact with professionals representing 29 local construction entities. Tuesday鈥檚 gathering in Portland was one of 12 Trades Day events taking place in U.S. cities this fall.
