• Early assistance is pending for a proposal to redevelop property at 2545 S.E. Fourth Ave. A new facility would house space for unique sports and games able to accommodate people of all ages, skill levels and abilities. Type IIB construction would be used. The applicant is Jodi Hanson of Urban Patterns LLC. The project owner is Tilikum Building LLC of Forest Grove.
• A type II procedure (conditional use) is pending for a proposal at 615 N.W. 18th Ave. The owner, who resides in the basement, seeks to convert floors 1 and 2 and the attic into a four-bedroom short-term rental space. The home has been updated to meet current life safety codes. The driveway and garage would be used by guests. Alexandru Ianos of Happy Valley is the applicant and the project owner.
• Early assistance is being sought for a project at 3600 N. Interstate Ave. Kaiser Permanente is proposing construction of an approximately 4,000-square-foot addition to support its radiation therapy clinic. The work would include installing a stand-alone rooftop HVAC system with screening, modifying landscaping, reducing parking by five spaces, and reallocating accessible and reserved parking spaces. Access to the clinic would continue to be through the existing main entry. Brad Kilby of Harper Houf Peterson Righellis is the applicant and Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Northwest is the project owner.
• Early assistance is pending for a project at 3504 S.E. 92nd Ave. Plans call for repairing or replacing the fire-damaged restaurant building with one that utilizes the existing drive-thru. Brady Berry Atwell LLC is the applicant and The Holland Inc. is the project owner.
