Building permits issued for Jan. 6-12, 2025

  • A $22 million new construction permit was issued for 4821 N. Channel Ave. Plans call for construction of a three-story building for truck maintenance and repair. The building will hold space for storing vehicle parts and maintenance items, office areas, and a shop for servicing hydrogen-powered vehicles. There will be associated site work. Kirby Nagelhout Construction of Bend is the contractor. Neither the applicant nor the project owner is listed.

Building permit intakes for Jan. 6-12, 2025

  • An $863,949 alteration permit is under review for 11215 S.E. Market St. Plans call for construction of a new storefront with doors to create a secure entry vestibule. Portions of the roof will be removed and replaced. Nathan Arnold of Faster Permits is the applicant and David Douglas School District is the project owner. The contractor is not listed.
  • A $750,000 alteration permit is under review for 10211 N. Lombard St. The expanded scope of work would include replacing walkways (including framing and guardrails) and replacing landings. Original doors would be reinstalled. Nathan Arnold of Faster Permits is the applicant, NOK Property LLC of Kansas City, Missouri, is the project owner, and J2 Building Consultants is the contractor.
  • A $1,359,884 new construction permit is under review for 251 N. Emerson St. Plans call for construction of a three-story, 16-unit apartment building. There would be associated site work. Nicholas Papaefthimiou of Design Research Office is the applicant, Emerson 23 LLC of Lake Oswego is the project owner, and Dan Muresan of JF Construction Co. of Lake Oswego is the contractor.
  • A $5 million new construction permit is under review for 5720 N.E. Flanders St. Plans call for construction of a three-story, 32-unit apartment building. There would be associated site work. Drew Dippel of Scott Edwards Architecture is the applicant, the Kent Family Trust of Vancouver, Washington, is the project owner, and iBuildPdx Co. LLC is the contractor.

Facility permits issued for Jan. 6-12, 2025

  • A $1,120,808 alteration permit was issued for 1300 S.W. Fifth Ave. A tenant improvement for Tonkon Torp is planned for floors 21-24. The work will involve installing air conditioning units, condensing units, terminal units, ductwork, diffusers, grilles, piping and electrical items. Paul Lukes of Streimer Sheet Metal is the applicant, SOF-XI WFP Owner LLC of Greenwich, Connecticut, is the project owner, and Streimer Sheet Metal is the contractor.
