Building permits issued for Feb. 3-9, 2025

  • A $618,000 new construction permit was issued for 1730 N.W. 14th Ave. The work will involve auger-drilled concrete cast piles in the foundation. Cameron Allen of Deacon Construction is the applicant, Weston Investment Co LLC is the project owner, and Deacon Construction is the contractor.
  • An $800,000 new construction permit was issued for 580 S.W. 13th Ave. The work will involve metal stairs and ladders. Walsh Construction is the applicant, JW Portland LP of Newport Beach, California, is the project owner, and Tom Mitchell (Walsh Construction) is the contractor.

  • A $1,250,000 alteration permit is under review for 1120 S.W. Third Ave. Plans call for removing and replacing the storefront system and glazing at the third and fourth floors over the main entry.   • A $750,000 new construction permit is under review for 10239 N.E. Marx St. Plans call for installing new stormwater collection and treatment infrastructure. The work would involve regrading and paving the parking lot, constructing a new valley gutter around the parking lot, rerouting the roof drain from the existing building, constructing a new drainage inlet, and more.
