  • Early assistance is being sought for 1430 S.W. 12th Ave. A renovation of the Rose Schnitzer Tower Apartments is planned to address building code and accessibility issues. The interior work would involve accessibility upgrades in apartments and common areas along with HVAC improvements. The exterior work would involve accessibility upgrades to apartment balconies. Site modifications would include accessibility upgrades to sidewalks as well as paving at the building’s perimeter. No changes to the stormwater disposal system are proposed. Charles Kidwell of Leeb Architects is the applicant and Cedar Sinai Park-Clay Tower Apartments Limited Partnership is the project owner.
  • A type 1 procedure (historic resource review) is pending for 1020 S.W. Taylor St. Gates would be installed on 12 alcoves to prevent loitering in storefront entryways and egress paths. Ricky Granquist of American Property Management is the applicant and Weston Investment Co LLC is the project owner.
  • Early assistance is being sought for 5300 N. Marine Drive. Pacific Power is proposing to replace electric transmission structures within the Smith and Bybee Wetlands Natural Area. Six structures would be removed, and three new ones would be constructed. Noel Sanyal of Pacific Power is the applicant, and Christopher H Bennett Broadcasting Co. of Seattle and Port OR LLC of St. Louis, Missouri, are the project owners.
  • A type 3 procedure (conditional use) is pending for 2245 N.E. 36th Ave. The proposal is for the addition of lighting to Grant High School’s track and athletic field. The property is owned by Portland Parks & Recreation. Joanna Evenson of Portland Public Schools is the applicant, and Portland Public Schools and the city of Portland are the project owners.
  • Early assistance is pending for 425 S. Montgomery St. A renovation is proposed for the floating restaurant moored at the site. Lorraine Guthrie of Lorraine Guthrie Architect is the applicant and the Oregon State Division of State Lands is the project owner.
