A two-story office building in Southwest Portland has sold for slightly more than $5.7 million.
Capitol Park, at 9700 S.W. Capitol Highway, was built in 1983 and renovated a decade later. The 29,000-square-foot building has also received more recent upgrades, including remodels of the lobby and bathroom, installation of a new roof, and the addition of an outdoor dining area for tenants.
The buyer was 9700 SW Capitol, a limited liability company that lists as a member the Thomas L. P. Fischer Revocable Trust of Scappoose, according to Multnomah County records. The seller was the Portland Community College Neubo Family Trust.
Raymond Duchek and Thomas McDowell of Portland-based Norris & Stevens represented the buyer. Kidder Matthews’ Steve Bowers and Sean McCarthy represented the seller.
The deal, with an exact price of $5,707,500, values the property at approximately $197 per square foot. The building sits on 1.36 acres.
The property previously sold for $4.6 million in August 2017.
