The proposed development would include five levels of residential units and interior amenities above a grocery store. Surface level and below-grade parking would support both residential and grocery uses. All loading and associated activity would be handled on-site.

Plans call for modernizing Ida B. Wells High School by redeveloping the building and the site.

Type 1 procedure (design review) – pending
Address: 1310 S.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Applicant: Brian Murtagh of Studio Coop Architecture
Owner: Club Wong LLC of West Linn

Approval is sought for installation of two new street-level fire exit doors: one on the building’s north side and another on the south side. Approximately 160 square feet (107 on the north side and 53 on the south) would be affected.

Early assistance – application

The applicant proposes splitting the current lot and reverting to the historical lot lines. Plans call for converting the 4,600-square-foot cement warehouse at the property’s southeast corner from industrial use to assembly use – as a music and events venue.
