An affordable housing building with approximately 100 units is being developed by Edlen & Co. and Hacienda CDC via the OMSI master plan. The maximum height would be 65 feet. The focus is on community development with exterior programmed space and a strong desire to reconnect residents and the public to Portland’s waterfront. New pedestrian pathways, extensive landscaping and innovative systems are planned. Stormwater management would be highly considered in landscaping and integral to project design. It would be functional for protecting the building and designed to highlight the site’s relationship with the earth and water.
