More than 3,000 high school students attended the fifth biennial Southern Oregon Trade Careers Expo at Seven Feathers Casino Resort late last month. Participants were able to immerse themselves in real-world experiences with tools, technology, and skills in a variety of industries. More than 140 private companies, public agencies and apprenticeship programs were represented. The event, which started in 2017, was organized entirely by volunteers.
