Maren Sinclair has dedicated 28 years to strengthening the construction industry through strategic marketing leadership and community engagement.

As marketing manager for Walsh Construction, Sinclair leads strategy and implementation for new work procurement, including proposals, promotions and qualifications shared with external partners and clients. She guides the marketing team in building relationships with existing clients while pursuing opportunities with new partners, prioritizing mentor-ship and growth among her team members. A champion for increasing diversity in the workplace, Sinclair supports her all-female team by highlighting their successes both in-side and outside the workplace. As one of three women on the Oregon marketing team, she has helped ensure that women have had a seat at the table throughout her nearly three decades with Walsh.

Throughout her tenure at Walsh, Sinclair has maintained a robust and diverse client portfolio through diligent proposal preparation and execution. She led the marketing department as a solo contributor, helping secure an impressive portfolio of new work. Her behind-the-scenes efforts have been integral to establishing Walsh as a successful brand.

Sinclair spearheaded a companywide Employee Resource Group that brings people to new jobsites monthly, creating connections between construction field workers and office staff. This initiative demonstrates her commitment to Walsh’s company values of generosity, co-operation and consistency.

Her community involvement includes coordinating corporate events such as Housing Oregon to support affordable housing initiatives and organizing companywide volunteering efforts with SOLVE to clean Portland’s downtown business center. Sinclair previously served on the Oregon Tradeswomen Board of Directors.
