A new, purpose-built residence hall is planned at Portland State University for first-year students. The building is expected to strengthen connections to the surrounding academic and cultural environment while bringing renewed energy and vibrancy to PSU’s Central District. Construction would be wood framing over a concrete podium. One option would be 126,750 square feet and the other would be 105,000 square feet.
