Daniel Camacho, project manager at Turner & Townsend Heery, has built a distinguished nine-year career in construction project management spanning two continents and multiple sectors.

Originally from Ecuador, Camacho immigrated to the United States and earned his bachelor鈥檚 degree in project management from Linfield University in McMinnville. His early career included managing significant projects in Quito and Santo Domingo, including the CEN Bicentenario Educational Center sponsored by the U.S. Embassy and the Coca-Cola Arca Continental warehouse expansion. These international experiences provided him with a global perspective that continues to inform his approach to inclusive, community-centered project delivery.

Since establishing his career in the United States, Camacho has contributed to the success of both public and private sector projects throughout Oregon. His portfolio includes multimillion-dollar bond programs for Lake Oswego, Reynolds, Salem-Keizer, and Portland Public Schools. His work has encompassed new construction, modernization, commissioning, and tenant improvements across the K鈥�12 education sector.

Beyond educational facilities, Camacho has played a key role in delivering high-tech and commercial projects, including the Hitachi High-Technologies facility and Mondelez Fulfillment Center. His ability to manage complex scopes and collaborate across diverse teams has established him as a trusted leader for both his company and clients.

Camacho has been instrumental in fostering a more inclusive workplace culture at Turner & Townsend Heery. He has led efforts to engage with local diversity, equity and inclusion-focused organizations such as the Oregon Association of Minority Entpreneurs and the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber, helping strengthen community ties and promote equitable practices. Following the COVID 19 pandemic, he took initiative in organizing company social events that brought colleagues together, rebuilding morale and connection across teams.
